A KKBE Fundraiser benefiting We Are Family

Join us for an electric eventing celebrating the 7th night of Hanukkah in support of KKBE and We Are Family’s work in the LGBTQIA+ community. 

KKBE provides a range of social justice advocacy and direct support for LGBTQIA+ congregants and the wider community. 

We Are Family is South Carolina’s oldest LGBTQIA+ youth-serving nonprofit organization (founded in 1995). They provide nearly 2,000 hours a year of free mental health therapy in addition to other advocacy efforts and services. More than 1,700 LGBTQIA+ youth throughout the state each year are direct beneficiaries of this work. They recently opened a first-of-its-kind LGBTQIA+ Community Center in North Charleston to serve as a hub for mental health support, leadership development, peer discussion groups, and youth-led events. 

Proceeds from this fundraising event will support both organizations in their efforts with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Our illustrious host, Patti O’Furniture, returns this year to lead us in BINGO, dreidel, and awareness. 

General Admission tickets include one BINGO card, open bar, and crispy latkes with your choice of a selection of gourmet toppings including beef short rib, sautéed garlic shiitake mushrooms, salmon roe + cream cheese, sour cream, and applesauce. VIP tickets include all of the above as well as a dedicated section with dedicated staff AND Champagne + Caviar. Additional BINGO cards will be available for purchase as well as gelt for dreidel and tickets for a 50:50 raffle. 

This event is for people 21 years old and up.

Both sponsorship levels will receive two VIP tickets in addition to having your name or organization mentioned in all promotional material. Sponsors will also be recognized by Patti during the event.
